Le Cazard student halls is an institution renowned for its student welcome and theatre, which is well known among Lausanne locals.

Large-scale renovation work was undertaken to propel the foundation into the 21st century. The work reflected the image of the spaces, which needed to be practical, but also comfortable for the students.

The first interventions focused on two spaces:

The theatre received a full face-lift, including new lighting and flooring, work on the walls and new acoustics treatment.

The kitchens in the student halls were instead redesigned to create a semi-professional space for the 20 tenants who prepare their meals there every day.
